But having only 2 nodes with OSD's, are basicaly a fat singelnode cluster. you will struggle with the default size 3 pools, since you have only 2 nodes. and even with 4 replicas you will have a split brain concept of the osd's as well when a node dies, or need … WebBut it is not the reason CEPH exists, CEPH exists for keeping your data safe.
